The Power Game for the Rich and Psychotic – Closely related to Religion, Politics comes in second with its ability to have a cult-like status that can reach a fever pitch with any hot-under-the-collar political groupie. From Conservatives, Libertarians and Labour Parties, to Dictatorships, Socialists and Communists, to Liberals and even the Marijuana Party (CDN), Politics is the Religion of the rich, the powerful and the completely out to lunch.

Politics, like Religion, has spun way out of control with it becoming more and more lost inside itself, bogged down by its own poorly developed doctrine. Ever seen the Korean Legislature in action? These humans have no problem starting a brawl if someone sneezes the wrong way.

In many European countries, the political turmoil can explode into full fledged riots! Look at what’s happening in France these days, Sarkozy mentions Pension Reform and it brings out the worst in Parisians! And in Canada, the government of the day has taken the term 'political mumbo-jumbo' to a whole new level.

Will the Real ‘God’ Please Stand Up!? - Not one of mankind’s smoother moves, religion and all that goes with it has purposely messed up people’s brain cells longer than anything else that has ever existed on this planet. Whoever first muttered the word ‘god’ should’ve been beaten with a club and tossed to a sabre tooth tiger.

Religion has entered into our very being in such a way that nothing else compares to its grasp on the human psyche. It goes deeper into the conscience than any other man-made brainwashing device or ideal ever could. Even politics don’t do the same level of brain damage that religion does.

Nothing can escape its hold on so many minds, the world over, in hundreds of different languages, for hundreds of cultures, for hundreds of different ‘religions’, for thousands of years. This is the world’s biggest business with world-wide franchise opportunities.

Just trying to hold a civil conversation about religion is a major challenge and it rarely lasts long. In lieu of this delightful human circumstance, it was decreed that Jerusalem was to be the ideal place to stick the three major religions, Christianity, Islam and Judaism all bundled together at the same cozy spot – literally. What can go wrong?

altIntroduction - I started out writing a piece on human stupidity, not America’s Funniest Home Videos stupid, but rather the stupidity of humanity, because in case you haven’t noticed, we’re a sad, sad little species.

During the course of scribbling out the article, it began to build with one silly human situation after another – well over 5000 words later, the “article” was fast becoming a study for the New England Journal of Insanity.

Knowing that humans have an attention span of a house fly, I realized the long article would never be read all the way to the end - no matter how intriguing it all became. And thus, that’s why you’re stuck with the Series.

Forward - In order for humans to understand what I’m about to convey, one would have to be honest with themselves. It is inconceivable for any of us to not ignore the fact that the world has become a very silly place.

We, as a human race, stopped evolving a few thousand years ago and at this point in time we are simply getting stupider and stupider. We’ve over-stayed our welcome on this planet and we’ve asked for whatever pile o’ crap we get from it. This isn’t conspiracy theory shit or mindless drivel. All you have to do is look around.

Supporters of President Obama's health care overhaul demonstrate in Omaha, Neb. The HealthCare Bill was recently passed.Yo, big brother! You’re losing your noodles over HealthCare! That’s all, nothing else, it’s just healthcare. Healthcare for your neighbours, your friends and even your family. How hard can this be?

What’s wrong with you humans? We have healthcare and we’re still here and so are a lot of other countries.

This wasn’t Obama declaring war on China because of misinformation about weapons of mass destruction. This was a Bill to help out the people Obama works for, the American people - all of them. Or does the Republican Party think they’re the only ones alive? That they’re the only ones that count?

Bush went off on an eight year fun-filled, global tangent of hell and ya’ll didn’t do this sort of malicious shit. Obama passes a HealthCare Bill and half the country goes bananas.

Would it have mattered which party created the Healthcare Reform Bill? If the Republicans had come up with this Bill, would the Democrats have acted just as weird about it all?

Erin Hamlin of The United States competes during the Luge Women's Singles on day 5 of the 2010 Winter Olympics at Whistler Sliding Centre on February 16, 2010 in Whistler, Canada. The Athletes Deserve Better - The Olympics weren’t created for me, you or anyone else, but for the Olympic Athlete - and that’s it. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies are for the athletes, the venues are for the athletes, the Torch and the Caldron are for the athletes - starting to get the idea here? The tracks, the hills, the ice, the snow, the rain, the win, the loss, the pain and sometimes the tragic ending of a life - belongs to the athletes.

When media morons around the world declare such ignorant claims as, "The worst Olympics ever!"* - be it the Vancouver, Bejing or Atlanta Olympics; they are not placing their displeasure on ordinary Canadians, instead it is landing on the shoulder of the many athletes who worked their asses off to get a shot at competing in the Greatest Sporting Event that’s held every four years.

It sinks into the athletes minds that perhaps they, are letting the people down. That perhaps, they are not doing a good job. But wait! Look around at the athlete’s faces. Do they not look like they’re having a good time? That’s all I see – smiling faces. Isn’t that’s what important?

ImageEither we absolutely bake, cook or sizzle in unheard of heat waves, or we freeze our tootsies off in sub-zero temperatures under mountains of snow and skate down the street after an ice storm.

If you’re not on fire somewhere because of unusually dry weather fanned by the winds of the day, you’re up to your ears in water because of a simple but over-zealous rain storm, a hurricane, or a flash flood; and/or a nearby river has lost its mind and has flooded you out of house and home.

Major hurricanes, super destructive tornados and typhoons, crippling ice storms, flash rain storms causing flooding and landslides, major winter storms that dump a metre (about one yard) of snow in mere hours, some of which have never happened before in some areas; are members of the Climate Change Group.
